Just before inviting Arnaud, founder of a Paris-based digital publishing studio Poésies Industrielles, to be our special guest at the Paris eLounge, I met him in his studio to talk about his work, creativity and life in general…
Arnaud had a very diverse carrier before he started his studio. One of his prior activities was in game design where he liked the aspect of merging technology, visuals, and sound to engage people into a story. This seems to be a natural progression into his current work which is focused on giving new digital life for the classical old books by turning them into interactive iPAD apps.
His first few creations are “The frog who wanted to be as big as an ox” and “Hell” by Dante (soon to be launched).
It’s really great to see people making the time and giving their energy to keep the classics alive by making them exciting for the digitally savvy audience.
My new friend these days – my photo camera – kindly helped me to investigate and capture the details of Arnaud’s studio. There were so many details! It felt like examining a small museum…
